You're choosing to be left out.
Zero penalty for your unit to change just for the duration of the event.
Leaders never around to make the unit change, maybe you need new leaders? Regardless, for a minimal penalty, you can leave your unit, participate and rejoin later.
What's more important to you really? The c-bills for unit recruiting that you might have to spend, or playing FP (your apparently preferred mode) for the 5 days?
