Stop Doing This

Just one of them. Your Assault mechs on your team can
Play a very important role. Stop leaving them behind. Stop
Leaving them period. I know it can be hard in certain situations
Because your just looking out for yourself. But literally teamwork
Can and will win you the Match. Try to bring a little more attention to
This problem. Most assaults go under 60 kph. For instance if you notice your leaving
A couple Stalkers behind say something to everyone.
We could of destroyed the enemy team last Match but instead we
Got ***** horribly and it was really embarrassing. We left two stalkers
Who were loaded down with Missiles enough to kill a whole team
And we left an Annihilator that had four sets of lbx 10s.
We could have stayed with them set up our perimeter. Got locks
Set them up front and let the enemt have it. But instead we leave them
And they get destroyed from afar trying to catch up with us.
Happens all the time. Your assaults play a great role. Get those bad boys upfront wirh you.
Yeah yeah it sucks waiting. Just keep with them

However, just as often as some assaults are unfairly and unnecessarily abandoned, some assaults leave their team with no choice: the LRM-boats and the snipers staying far away from the enemy, the passive assaults waiting for the team to do something (and realizing the team's movement too late, resulting in a feeling of being abandoned that is not true to the situation), the yolo-runners (though I actually stay with them).
The problem is that assaults are - unfortunately so - often driven by inexperienced players, who are too slow to read mini-maps and tend to misjudge the current tactical situation. It's very easy to blame the other guy, but in my experience assaults are responsible for their "abandonment" just as much as a bad team abandons them for no reason. It really goes both ways.

I agree to 100 percent. And i fear that many Assault Pilots don't want to be in the front line and so they start moving with a delay at the start of a match or go capping. So they have an "excuse" for not beeing in the frontdirt, where the dying starts first...

NEWS FLASH!
Lurm[Redacted] who chose to waddle into Quick Play in slow Mechs today were shocked when 12 enemies decided to take advantage of their error. In a surprise development, the 10 other players on their own team opted not to gimp their own speed or positioning.
Experts urged them to take less useless Mechs next time!
Stay tuned for updates throughout the evening!

And for me would totally depend if the STks are lurmers and if they are a no name irrelevent player. I know they would be hiding is the back anyway if they lrm so I need to be worrying about getting early kills and winning, not some rando skill tuber.

As for people that get rushed when they just happen to be at the back of nascar, i will try to help them but i rarely just turn to face the enemy unless a good portion of the team does since it results in me being focused and killed right after the fatty dies, which makes my ability to carry a game go to 0, and i find that the games im in the team as a whole does far better when my weapons remain intact during the entire game rather then going out and only hurting a few mechs (which most QP pugs wont really take advantage of). Maybee if the majority of the playerbase was better then potato tier, id be more willing to stick my neck out, but statistically almost every game i dont stay alive in past mid game ends in a loss, so ill do what i can to help the rear of the nascar, solong as i dont get killed early doing so...

The next step was complaining about dumb NASCAR and idiots and how they were abbandoned. However, there was not even a real NASCAR going on and they could have linked up easily. Nevertheless, they decided to keep their full armour and do not help to push the front.
Point is: complain if you are REALLY abbandoned. If you miss to link up because you want to keep your full armour by sitting far in the back and do not move at any cost, blame yourself.

#1 Many assault pilots actually downsize their engines to fit more flippin' guns.
#2 Many assault pilots take very long or move very timidly
#3 If everyone slows down to the assaults' speed,. the rest of the team loses their only edge-mobility.
solution to your beef:
#1 Don't EVER run stupidly slow mechs.
#2 Don't EVER de engine yourself to get an extra 10pts on your alpha.
#3 Move aggressively and most importantly , smartly.
Running anything that plods along sub 50kph is literally asking for it.

Partially resolve the issue by having Charlie Lance spawn in the center spot. PGI setup would make sense if each time if the majority of the team links up with Charlie Lance on the left... (chuckles) That rarely happens in SQ on most maps.

I hate piloting mechs which are that clumsy and love mediums mostly but not being a total xxxxx I cover the assaults early on in any skirmish etc game. Not so much in capture but even there I put myself where I can fade back as needed to cover the assaults from enterprising lights.
Now if you choose to sit back from the team when fighting I'm really going to leave you to your own devices because either you know what you're doing so don't need my help.... or you deserve to die.

I suggest you learn these places and find good pathing to them so as to avoid LOS detection and popular places for light ambushes.
If I can potato my way up to the front in an ANH so can you.
