Jester, XL340, 2 LL/4 ERLL, dual ams and a pair of JJ's most mobile IS mech that i mesh with

Misery, AC20, 5 ERML, MRM20.. Just a darn fun mech.

Commando 1D, 2x SRM4 + flamer. Such a tough little bugger..

Ok, so so i did 4, TDR-5ss, 2 ERLL's + 5 MPL's a very fun pugger,


honorable mention,,, Timber, 4x SRM4's, 4 MPL 3 machine guns.. Or 2 an omage to mech commander, 2 ERPPC's and 4 SRMS

2xMRM30s + 2xMRM20s Cyclops-10-Q. 325 LFE. Great for damage and kill.

2xLBX10 Uziel-3P for Solaris. A lot of people use it now, but back in S1 Div 7 was choked with VND-1X, I made it popular.

2xUAC10 HBK-IIC with JJs. Pretty standard stuff but as long as RNGesus is on your side, you can easily do 1K damage with just 50 tons, in FP.

I really like the Flea. I’m not great with it but I just like it and I’ve been primarily running it since it was released. All the variants are fun in one way or another except the 19, which sucks so hard I even had an idiot get pissed and try to teamkill me in the PTR because he was so salty from me failing at it. The MGs on the 19 just are weak without real laser backup like the Piranhas have and the missile hardpoint isn’t useful because IS MGs and LMGs just are too heavy even to carry an SRM2 and have a bigger engine than a light 100, which restricts you to 81kph speed tweaked. Because useful lasers are available on the Fire Ant variant and the FA has MASC, that one actually isn’t bad with 6xMG, 2xERML, and one ML. And the FLE-20 has both MASC and ECM.

Locust-1V: FF, Endo, XL190 +3DHS, 1 Snub PPC, max mobility, some survival and cooldown, 5 nodes radardeprivation, strike and uav. Super fun to play.

Trebuchet 7K: FF, Endo, XL300, 1Gauss (3 tons ammo), 2 Light PPC

Adder Prime: Stock config, just swap the TC3 with 3 DHS

Raven 4X: Ac20, two MLs. It's fun and a real pleasure when you get that solo kill.

Urbanmech SC: Rotary AC5 and 3 small lasers. Laughing manically when heavies/assaults back off as you start to fire at them is one of the many spices of life.

Firestarter H: One ER Medium laser. And One Heavy gauss Rifle. This is hands down my favourite mech i've made so far. Standard 100, Standard heat sinks, 21 shots. It has a KDR of like 2 (I can't check because i run a much more saner FSH-9 too).

Really depends on the mood and the tonnage available, but if I have my druthers I play brawl mechs, and I admit that I tend to go through the same cycle of mechs at the start of a given evening of play so at least sub-consciously these are either my favorites or just habitual:

IV-4 with 2AC10, 2ML, 1JJ.
Jester. Any build but doing at least 80 kph, but preferably faster.
Top Dog or Ebon Jag with 8MPL.
If there is tonnage for an assault it is always a Victor running 3AC10s or AC20 and 3SRM6A.

catapault c1 4mls lrm 15x2 and all the usual lrm-y equipment stuff. xl 280-300 engine and 2 jjs.

lct 1E six spls xl 190 3dhs max mobility and fire power.

spider 5v 2mpls 2jjs and big lfe. the undying op super spider.

1) Supernova SNV-A: 2xLRM20 + 2xLRM15 + 4xERSL + 16T ammo, with CXL-325 (Premum clan LRM boat, and build, can be done on several other mechs to deadly effect)

2) Awesome AWS-8R: 4xLRM15 + 3xERML (Premium IS LRM boat)

3) Sun Spider Vanguard: 4xLRM15 + 4xHMG (Simply amazing, tough and highly useful)

Honorable mentions: Mauler MX90 / King Crab KGC-000: 2xGauss Riffle + 2xERLL

These Gauss/ERLL builds are working out surprisingly well, so I have to include them..

Jenner-F 300xl, 6ml

Not sure of a third, maybe Yen Lo Wang with AC20 and 2 ML. Do like the Vulcan-5T with 1LPL and 4ML a lot too.

Hold on to your pants guys, I've got some reeeally interesting build's you'll want to try:

Cauldron Born 2xLPL + 6erML
Storm Crow 2xLPL + 4erML

HBK-IIC-A 2xLPL + 4erML (with jumpjets)

I know, I know.. It took a lot of creativity and thought to get these builds working right.

One of my all time favorites is actually this AS7-D build. Weapons management is a bit of a pain, but man, I have pulled so much damage with this for years. Thanks whoever originally posted this on some forum like 5 years ago.

AS7-D 2xUAC-5

the LL and UAC-5s are great for farming damage at range. Allows you to be useful if not lethal while conserving your armor for the mid/late game for the brawl. 1 ton of SRM ammo might seem low but it is mainly for alphas/finishing/deterrence. Even though it's not a dedicated brawler, if someone closes in early on, you can walk away 90% of the time. Even on a fairly poor round where I think I did maybe mid 300s, it'll pull 600+ damage.

If you have your founders atlas or an as7d sitting around I implore you to try it.
