do people still get closed beta keys? or closed beta invites? cause my beta status is still pending

It depends if you have a founders pack from what i been told. If you pack x amount of money for one of the three founders packs you could get a beta key, but im not 100% sure on this and im sure i will be corrected on this. But who knows, if your invited without the founders pack then cudos! but if not. Then you will have to wait like the rest of us, the release date from what i've also herd i august 7th. So, this might be something worth looking in to. Interestingly enough though the wait will be well worth it when it comes out, from the videos ive seen and the videos showing the mechlab etc.. I't looks pretty amazing.

lets hope its 7 august then my holiday just started 3 weeks of holidays yay then i can play this game 3 weeks long

and to bad you cant use ideal to buy a founders pack

Only people who have purchased a Founder's pack are currently being accepted into Beta.

On Aug. 7 any Founders not already in are guaranteed to get in - that is not the release date.

Non-founders may have a chance to get into Beta after Aug 7 but we haven't been given any information on that.

It appears that for the past while, only people who have bought a Founder's pack have been getting invites.

All the founders will be in beta on/before Aug 7th, so I would imagine after the 7th, then non-founders will start being invited again.
