I'll keep it short and sweet:
The combination of significantly increased torso mobility (which allows for meaningful spread of damage across multiple armor sections), along with the heat sink changes (which put an effective and necessary check on laser vomit while simultaneously increasing the viability of lower heat brawling weapons) has massively improved the game's balance. Brawlers again have the torso twist they needed to survive, along with the heat dissipation to effectively take advantage of the situation once they close the gap on back-line builds. The game hasn't been this much fun since way back in 2012.
There is room for fine-tuning, but I strongly recommend these changes be implemented as soon as possible. The heat and mobility changes have clear and established potential to expand the meta in ways not otherwise possible.
I look forward to one day seeing these changes on live servers!
