ive seen allot of complaints about the LRM changes lately, but i think allot of the complaints stem from a BUG ive discovered in the game surrounding weapon systems that require a lock, not just LRMs. what people are actually experiencing was not meant to be in the game..there is currently a glitch/bug that came in when they changed the radius of the lock-on hit box for mechs that makes it so looking strait at the mech does not give you the lock..instead you have to look to the left or "lead" the mech to begin the lock on process. im sure that was not intentional and should be fixed in a micro patch once PGI catches wind of it.
