Yeah, Urbie can be ambushed, if you think it raises the odds for the contestant...

This is deffinitely not possible. No one has ever managed a successful ambush against an Urbanmech. Every time this was attempted, the ambushers fell asleap while waiting for the Urbanmech to finally arrive and every time the Urbie just slowly waddled past the sleeping ambushers.

I remember that you could get it in BattleTech: The Crescent Hawk's Inception (or was it revenge?) from the Arena. You'd get one assigned sometimes if you chose to lend a mech instead of using your own... in turn you could blast the walls and escape with it, using it for the rest of the campaign.

And it was one of the best useable Mechs in the entire game.

Obviously, with all the UrbanMech love herabouts, they'll make it into MWO.

I look forward to it, simply to see how well it does.

I don't think I ever played a campaign with it, but it may have had a big advantage since it was only fighting other lights with low range weapons. I believe there were almost no Mediums and no Heavies or ASsaults in INception.

A shame, really.

Everyone loves Urbanmech. Everyone knows that Urbanmech is strong.

Just how strong?
Who would you like to see Urbanmech curbstomp to doom?
Who do you think would make Urbanmech break a sweat?
This is like celebrity deatmatch, only with a resident champion.

Against another UrbanMech
Against a JagerMech
Against an Imp.

Family feuds are the most awesome feuds.

First time I saw an Urbanmech, was in MechCommander 2.

I didn't know what to think of it, so I just blew it out of the sky when it used its jump jets.

A flying trash can, really?

Made a custom map, set a lot of them up near explosives.

Yeah, fun times.

Dude, every time I see an UrbanMech, I flashback to sixth grade and rolling down a hill in a trashcan... And suddenly feel sorry for the things pilot.

Urbanmech is Zen. Urbie forgives you.

They haven't announced Urbie yet because of all the QQing it would cause.

Urbie Hero mech is 10,000 MC.

I will get two.

Why do we love Urbies, because when you kill someone with an Urbie, its a win and you feel happy. When you lose an Urbie, you dont feel anything. So mathematically, I will never feel sad piloting an Urbie.

Also, Urbie has 100% confirmed ejection rate as the system will eject you the moment someone fires something big at you at it, ensuring 100% survival rate of the pilot.

Also, I get to taunt anyone I kill with...to eternity.

In fact, its so good, they made a super urbie which is useless called ANH-1A and ANH-2A....
