No, I'm not spending MC for that or colors. Mech packs/TSP are ok, but I rather use MC for hero mechs or mech bays.

PGI is also trying to follow a bit of BT lore for the sake of fun and immersion . Cannot mix clans all the time .
There is also a question of too few players . You need extra smoke jag players to have a successful smoke Jag vs Kurita event . People who choose to sit this one out because its not their "CLAN" are just being stubborn and selfish .

If they punish loyalists then why just not keep mercenaries and wipe perma loyalty option? I dont get it. This game have about 1% of lore and ingame "factions" means absolutely nothing, only RP units make sense for it. So what this circus about? Just make 2 factions already: Clans and IS. Done. Oh wait, we need the buckets...

Modern CW is just QP with multiple drops and stupid QP maps/gamemodes horrible suited for CW.

Any recommendations for variants of Osiris, Hellspawn and Nightstar?
Also thinking about getting another Roughneck, only have the Powerhouse so far.

Well, I see what PGI did there, and I'm bummed out.

Sure, there's a 50% Off Mech Bays Sale, and I'll pick some up.

Sadly, it appears that they discontinued & stopped the Faction Sales on...

• Cockpit Items

...and burned down all my dreams (and Other Pilots' dreams) of gathering up the earnings in order to possibly get some of that nice stuff. I really wish they had run this part of the Sales for longer, in order to attract more interest from the MWO Community.

As for the Mechs, I'll still be waiting for the 50% Off (MC) on Hero Mechs... But for the 40% Off (C-Bills) on Normal Mechs, I'll have to look it over a bit. Hopefully I don't get caught in the shorts by a 50% Off (C-Bills) on Normal Mechs from a Chassis Challenge later, should I decide to pick any up now.

Is any of these mechs on sale available only during sales, is any of them really rare?

they're accounted for being rare because statistically, these mechs have not been on sale as much as other chassis'; nothing more.

No and no.

It just happens to be they're only discounted during sales.

There are some very good hero mechs like the Deathstrike in there though if you're looking to buy a first hero mech. Great hardpoints and ability to carry a lot of weaponry, paired with a +30% c-bill bonus.

I sent you a message with some Roughneck builds, last ones a bit hot , I wouldn't bother with any of the others you listed. 6 er medium Osiris is OK, but Masc Flea is better. hellspawn is OK in Solaris 1v1 but a bit lacking for other game modes. Nightstar I wouldn't rate as worth getting until you have 1 of every other mech then want to try one just to "catch em all"

Maybe I'll pick up the Javelins I don't have yet with MC I already have, maybe.

Wish the Mech Packs were on sale too since the variants from the packs are on sale. Even with the listed Hellspawn variants MC cost reduced per variant and the MC packs increased in value, the end cost for those listed variants would come out to more than $30. Almost the same cost as buying outright from the store with no sale. I didn't check any of the other chassis packs since the Hellspawn was what I mainly wanted from the sale.

@All: Got the Sekhmet, couple of assaults for C-bills and two more Mech bays. Might have managed one more Mech bay, if I had had a little bit more time to play the FW portion of event, missed out on about 40 loot bags.
