Well duh.. rarely does the last disco guy reconnect and win the match.. BUT.. he may kill someone, and then that someone might get different bonuses and loot.. or the last guy could cap and win the match (astronomically small chance, but possible), or destroy the enemy base just enough to win (also tiny chance, but it's there).. so there are just too many variables.. and PGI probably won't touch it..

Even though they probably should..

My point is I have never in my life seen this hypothetical scenario play out. And if I have never seen it after the many thousands of games I've played then it would need to be extraordinarily rare. You're invonveniencing everyone still in that game for an irrelevant, hypothetical event that you will almost certainly never see in your life.

Let's look at it from a cost/benefit perspective

What is the cost of leaving it like it is right now: thousands of hours collectively wasted by players finding and destroying a disconnected player.

What is the benefit of leaving it like this: Maybe 1 in a million games might turn out differently.

They just need to end the damn game so we can all get on to playing the next match.

1: the UI in mechlab is horrible ... eg. the Mechlab ... you choose an Oneshot Camo, go to another rider eg for decals, now that you have done everything you have to go back to the camo because this one has returned to default and you quickly instead of 75 MCs full 750 MCs expats ... the same With decals you have to adjust everything again on own Decals and all because every damn time everything is set to default ... in the other loadout is it synonymous but.

2: Minimap, the pure overview map layout is completely useless, that it offers no topographic help, for example, displaying altitude levels and is usually completely worthless

The benefit is - they don't have to lift a finger, or waste a single second of processor usage on it..

Don't get me wrong.. I agree with you it's annoying.. I'm just saying I don't think it likely that PGI would care about it..
