I would guess it is now called COSHA.

Comstar Occupational Safety and Health Administration. COSHA is a division of ComStar charged with the Spy on all enforcement of safety and health legislation at all the factories throughout the realms. Doing what they can to protect the average working man.

Sarna shows this company only has one factory and it is on Atreus. But, Sarna is set in the late 3060. It says in the 3060's the LCCC has odered the company to fullfil a contract it has with them. So I wonder if they had a planet outside of the FWL in the 3050's?


In BattleTech a corporation may have factories in different realms building and producing war machines. The only rule is that a machine built in say Davion space cannot be sold to Kurita unless the realm it was built in says it is OK. Each Factories would have its own CEO and would report back to a Board of Directores.

Look at the bright side. You can feel better knowing that your dropship is not rat infested. That rotting smell coming from behind a wall in the corner of the Mech bay. It is the arm of one of the factory Techs they could not find.

I stowed away on a Dropship once. Lived in a Hunchback cockpit for three weeks before they found me. Good times...

Whilst it's always sad when paeons die in industrial accidents, this is simply the price of doing business in the competitive world of large scale manufacturing, where schedules are tight and margins are slim.

So long as this doesn't adversely affect their production schedule, all should be well.
