FP Group of 8: waited 25 minutes, never even got to a lobby. Eventually disbanded.
Scouting Group 2: waited 10 minutes, ghost drop.
FP Group of 6: waited 15 minutes, never even got to a lobby. Disbanded.
I'm just really sad to see the game in this state.

BTW, there are groups playing FP right now.
Just play during prime time.

You're trying to play off-peak hours right now, and your faction is probably the higher pop one.

Surely, that ought to do the trick and turn things around.
Also, lets not forget 2 new mech packs.
Once folks learn that MWO has even more and even less effective mechs available for play they will return in droves and wait times will be a thing of the past. Also, there will soon be something of even greater excitement than the thrill of more nerfed mechs: Mechcon!!! There is always an amazing addition to the game announced that never fails to universally excite the players and get expats returning in droves.
You’ll see.

Like 8 PM EST - 12:00 AM EST are pretty good.
EU Prime time is busy.
It is my normal playtime and we hardly ever wait and hardly have any ghost drops. Come to think of it, had our first ghost yesterday in a very long time - cannot remember the last.
Then again, I play CW as intended so do not have these solo-only warrior problems.
It is hardly a 'waiting simulator' if you are there actually playing instead of claiming it's dead from the forums while not even playing.

I beg to disagree. CW was healthily populated in the beginning, and was so for a good while. I personally recall less than a handful of ghost drops.
The population started dropping for various reasons after that, though.

So now MWO is just going to be a "play at this time" game? Why don't they just shut the servers down during the rest of the day then, we don't need those casuals anyway.
Maybe they can just go play Solaris, that is a big hit right? right?

(Ironically, the friends list still shows many people as being online when they're not.)

Play solo-q during off time. Play FP during prime time. Stop being snide.

I just can't handle the QP matchmaking any more.

For the first time ever, I decided I'd rather do without the MC than subject myself to the frustration of trying to carry "Tier 1" potatoes in QP.

Meh, there is no win condition to the rewards. The challenge wasn't hard to do, won or lost.
Just played some matches my way and the rewards rolled in.

Then your choice is to play during prime time until people get over event fatigue.
Or if you can't play in prime time there is sadly choice 2- and do what too many are doing-not playing, there is little or no event fatigue... it is a lack of players.
