Anyone know what might be causing me to not being able to quote or paste anything here in the forums?

What browser? Is it up to date? Have you tried pasting with shortcuts and your mouse? Have you restarted your browser or used another one?

And just testing it, it appears it will stay disabled once selected, but you can enable it again to use the link images, manual quotes and <strong><em><u><strike>such</strike></u></em></strong>.

But things get sorta of funky if you try doing too much... Also, which version of IE and on which OS? IE 11 on W10 is what I did this post with but no issues with Windows Edge.

Edit - Just copy/pasting the following since it is difficult reading it with the extra formatting that was generated while I was messing with the Toggle Editing mode and utilizing some of the options available with Edit Mode is active.

Running Win10 and no issues running Firefox, Chrome nor Edge.. and... Opera. I only had the issue of not quoting nor pasting w/ IE 11 on default setting but could do those things by Hitting the Toggle Editing Mode icon.

I'm running windows 7 on this. I couldn't see that editing button anywhere but I already had Opera on my pc so I switched to that. It's working fine now.

Ahh, what happens when you click on the More Reply Options? Do you see the Toggle Editing mode and other options?

Edge has some quoting weirdness; sometimes, I get all the formatting code despite being in WYSIWYG mode. It's not consistent, and it typically goes whack if I expand it to More Reply Options.

I use IE as well, as I like the F11 full screen view. To quote things on the forums in IE you first have to click on the reply box and toggle off the editing mode so all the features (font, bold, underline, etc.) are greyed out. Then you can scroll back up to quote whatever post you want, and toggle back on the editing mode if you want to use them.

Something really odd is going on because I have the same exact problems with IE, Edge, and Firefox both at home and in the office. They only started several weeks ago.

Pasting will work in IE 11 you just need to repeat the paste command twice.
