Honest truth as I have exactly 500 currently .... you rarely use the vast majority of them.

The worst weight class.... Even running brand new Warhawks's and Direwolves this weekend I was getting 3-4 kills a match on average so no used appropriately they're really not the worst weight class in game. They just play very differently and are now vulnerable again to lights. Go back 6 (?) months and they were dominating matches (pre Piranha and MG MLX) with Assaults > Heavies > Mediums > Lights in terms of popularity. Even now most matches in tier 1 are 4 assaults ... occasionally 5. Go to group and frequently 7 assaults due to the group mechanics.

Assaults're pretty damn powerful. prob is they're VERY Team sensitive Mechs as well. a Light or a Medium can operate alone, even most Heavies, but an Assault really needs someone watching their ***.
