As has been said repeatedly in this thread go shoot annihilators in the face in div 1

Finished all the tasks I wanted to. This was an awesome event . I gave woodland camo to my sun spiders and tiger camo to my black lanner . Picked jade falcon lime as my colour. Yay I have four types of green

Ugh. I must have spent 150 matches getting 500+MS. Confidence was shot, kept trying different things, but old trusty MCII-B to the rescue playing one time on my nice fast work PC. Lol Mechwarrior performance anxiety! And I got to play with D V Null twice!
Mission accomplished! (it literally took me like 10 matches for the 5M or so on 2 accounts last time, what is up with me?)

See any annihilators... aim for top center of the horn... you might get lucky and burn into the right window. Atlas... left eye. Cicada or King Crab, center most window.

it's not good for my (or anybodies, but mainly my^^) health to run laserpointers and the according weapons too much.

Just run a streak boat with tag - I used a quad Streak 6 with BAP and Tag Hunchback IIC - got 6-9 tag damage awards a match even when I was dying fast as not used a streak boat before. Reasonably easy to keep the tag on target as I effectively brawl with it as its ct based. Suspect a stormcrow would be better though tbh.

Isn't it right eye (presuming facing them as only direction you can hit the eyes from)?

Has to be said I did it in my first match in faction warfare as match score is "odd" there - it is combined and then divided by the number of deaths. My moderately decent game in a thrown together clan deck I got 5 kills etc but just died in my warhawk so effectively had 2 mechs score combined ... and divided by 1....

Was going to skip all star got lucky with 500 so exchanged heads in Solaris .

Gave the patterns to my Uziels and stalkers and took Davion Blue colour . That's a really nice blue .

This is the really easy way to do it. Just play FP until you get something like Boreal Defense or Caustic Valley, and bring 2 LRM boats at the front of your deck, each with 4000+ rounds of ammo. Stay at the back and lurm, and don't lose the second mech. EZ 500+ match score. DO NOT DO THIS on maps that are not good for lurms.... people bringing LRMS to Vitric Forge or Rubelite or something in FP are terribads.

500 match score in an HBK-4J with LRM+ML (yes, I know ... but ... ) on day 1 or 2, and a headshot with an ANH-1X with dual Heavy Gauss+ML when someone overheated in front of me yesterday

I selected:
Pattern - WOODLAND THANATOS (perfect fit for this ECM mech)
Pattern - TIGER COMMANDO (though it looks good on the Orion, too)
Color - BATTLESHIP GREY (though I was tempted to get some of the crazy neon colors)

All other Topics are fullfilled, additional got a personal highest matchscore over 800 and reached Tier 3...
Took the Woodland for my Maulers, the Tiger for my Fafnir and Took the Colour Indigo..

I didn't think I'd see anything sadder than people 'trading headshots' in this thread but there it is.

Also this event was bad. The rewards were good but the challenges made the games just terrible.

Hint: Almost everything other than 'win x games' encourages people to throw in certain situations in order to farm the event.

I didn't get a heatshot. I did try it few times using special builds and rushing ahead, but just didn't have enough time.

I still got my nice title I earned right at the start of this event, so all and all 12/10.
