Once more into the breach! Lego* Mech** Contest*** Round 4****!

Quick Play (Physical Models)
1. To enter you must post a photo of your mech created with physical Legos.
2. Your photo must include your MWO name and the current date on a piece of paper.
3. The brick combination must be of your own design. I want to see new models.
4. The mech may be any scale. It does not have to fit a minifig.
5. The mech may a canon or non-canon/original model/variant.
6. Designs that won a top prize in a previous round may not be entered. Their builders may enter other designs. Designs that received an honorable mention may be resubmitted.
7. Multiple entries are permitted. Individuals are limited to one prize.

MechLab (Digital Models)
1. To enter you must post a screenshot of your mech created using LDD/Stud.io, etc..
2. Your screenshot must include your MWO name and the current date made out of bricks.

Community Warfare
Like last time, the community will get to choose additional winners. Once submissions close, I will create a poll. The entry with the most votes that did not win a main prize will receive a secondary prize. This system should be more fair than relying on post likes.

Submissions will close at 23:59:59.99 Central on December 3rd. Submissions will close at 23:59:59.99 Central on the day PGI announces the December mechpack. This is a "soft" date, potentially subject to small extensions. The intent is to finish community voting in time for winners to qualify for the December mech pack’s early adopter rewards.
Begin!

*Bricks compatible with Legos are fine.
**If you really want to submit some other kind of Battletech unit, like an aerofighter, I will allow it.
***Technically two contests I guess.
****Four asterisks for four rounds.

Current Physical Entries
Alvar Von Kenesthor (Urbanmech IIC)
Aleski (Champion)

Current Digital Entries
Alvar Von Kenesthor (Warhammer)
kapusta11 (Kodiak)
Subhntr (Uziel)
Aleski (Wolfhound)

Another one? Oh wow, great news.

You should probably contact Tina or mods and ask them to pin this thread in general discussion subforum. Few people knew about the contest last time so there weren't a lot of entries sadly.

Woah, nice! If only I had the time and bricks (edit: and skill) to compete. Would love to do a Lego Technic Battlemech. Won't happen sadly. Best of luck to the competitors though. Looking forward to another round of awesome Lego mechs =)

As before, the more entries we get, the more prizes there will be, so spread the word.

Nice almost missed this, saw it only cause of PGIs Halloween contest, would be really good to spam this thread from time to time in the general part of the forum, otherwise it just gets missed!

I tried the General Forum last time, and the thread tended to get buried. So it is that or staying more visible in a less frequented board. Of course, I did not anticipate the Halloween contest spam.

Tiny couple of stupid questions:
- If the time limit is reached and my urbie is the only participant, does that count as a win by default or this gets contest cancelled?
-a "small" project using the Lego 3d program is on the go. Can I present it to the other category or just 1 category by participant?

You are allowed to enter multiple times, be it physical and/or digital. You just cannot win more than one prize, even if you "place" more than once.

PGI is obviously the gatekeeper for what they give away, but I will not cancel the contest. If there is only one entry, I will make sure he/she gets a prize one way or another.

And just to say it again, more participants means more prizes, so spread the word.

The weird T-pose is because technically, it's a posable figure that can rotate the torso, move its arms and legs and even has a cockpit where you could fit a minifig:

Guess I'll start looking for pages to buy separate lego pieces... :P

Managed to find the posing tools. Now's my last entry (I think)...
Didn't the past 4 of these contests get more attention? This feels quite isolated...

PD: Taking into account both Rifleman and Warhammer share the same legs design, you just gave me an idea for my next project :P
