Team Killing

I was playing a match recently and I had to kill one of our team mates that was attacking our own team. Do I get punished for that? I think I even got some CB for killing it.
I am a bit confused
Could sb explain me how TK is implemented?

Unless you make a big habit of it, all you'll get is a 20 second queue penalty.
It happens to almost everyone occasionally...sometimes a teammate just wants to jump up and put their stripped back armor between your LBX20s and the enemy right as you line up and fire...

If you see someone damaging your own teammates or griefing in any other particular way, just report them. Get the match score board, hover over their nickname and use your mouse buttons, the rest you'll figure yourself.
Not sure if reports actually do anything, but at least it's a better option than heavily penalizing yourself, should you choose to engage the offender.

Report Player > Griefing > Intentional Path Blocking
..and such a Report should frankly make sure that you don't run into the offending player for a while. Say, like, at least 10 matches afterward before you run into them again, if at all.

Minis the last part about somehow blocking that playing from being able to drop with you (for just reporting), I see intentionally blocking someone's retreat (especially when they are poking and have been for a while) as a form of griefing. I've been referring to it as TKing without dealing any team damage for a while now.
Just yesterday I had someone do that to me. Been poking from a spot for three or four rotations, then suddenly a MC MKII comes and pushes me from collision (which also happened to make me miss a shot because my target was pushed outside twisting ranges), then when I needed to back off, he was still there. Of course, I'm being shot at by enemies as this is happening, but I managed to (control my fire and not shoot him) walk all the way around him so he could take my spot. He wanted it so badly he was willing to get me killed for it, so I just gave it to him. (Though seriously, I almost unloaded a full alpha into him I was so tired of him up my backside by that point.)

Well, if someone kills a teammates, which can be accomplished very easily and quick, as you can just one hit kill alpha in the back, that's -1 mech for your team, if you engage teamkiller, it will be a waste of time, so you'll have to fight, and when you kill him, that's -2 mechs plus you (and maybe someone else) damaged in the process. Now tell me, what are the odds of your team to win like this? i'd say if you can bear it, you better just disco, waste less time this way, and penalty would be a lot less.
Once I've seen a guy, who's been purposely damaging our teammates, what I did was reporting him, warn my team over comms, getting away as far as possible, and we even managed to win that round, wasn't easy though, but at least he was drawing some enemy fire too.

Something like this is listed in the CoC as a form of griefing. I browsed the text today. If it's clearly intentional, report it and let the mods sort it out.

I just wish there was more Options in that Category, in order to more specifically Report a particular type of Offense.

If someone on your team starts TKing on purpose, you're -2 mechs already : him and his first victim, and if you don't stop him he will make it his business to turn it into -3 and -4 in quick order. What are the odds for your team to win THEN?

Or at least it would in theory, if some TKers did not create throwaway accounts to get around penalties and bans. There was an epidemic of that several months ago.
There is no long term solution unless PGI starts banning TKers by IP address and/or MAC (hardware identifier) - which as far as I know isn't being done - and in the short term the only thing that works is ejecting the TKer out of the match so that he's no longer your specific problem for the duration.
