Lol. Maybe only isxl should stackpole. Make brawling with one totally worth it if you can get close.

MLL Reactor Criticals
As for Mechwarrior 4 those were more inline with reactor destruction as the radius was 33m to 90m and superheated air or plasma being blasted out the reactor before the shield locks down.
Mechwarrior 3 also had reactor criticals that were stackpole but like what is stated in the lore their from over torqued, IE pushing the reactor so far past its limits even the shielding can not contain it. In theory it could be triggered by dumping all the fuel into the reactor (and mechs contain enough fuel to run for weeks or even months without refueling).

Not gonna lie... would really like a chance for an eng crit to cause it to go critical.
