2v2 Assaults will crush Piranhas.

Now, I won't go chasing the PNA down in my big, nor will I be looking backward for half the match in the off chance the PNA comes when I'm Shooting at other assaults, but I DO check the radar, and should I take note of one, will do my best to take a potshot if i can. This is especially true if there's a convenient corner, or a little distance that prevents the enemy from punishing our team because I took a 3 second break to turn and remove a threat.

unfortunately they dont and sometimes im chasing squirrels when i should be shooting at bigger mechs. as a class one threat they have to be handled, if you ignore them they will get your back. you can call for help and find a wall but i find its faster just to kill it. at least show that you are dangerous enough for them to want to bug out and find easier prey.

Not really OP, since PGI has always wanted a rock/paper/scissors approach to mech balance, and even then, lights are still the weakest class overall. PGI's always envisioned Assaults>Heavies>Mediums>Lights>Assaults

Online gaming is a "monkey see, monkey do"-rich environment. As such, if PIRs were really OP, then lights would be the most used class. But, alas, at exactly 2018-11-03 23:43 GMT, lights were at 14%.

If I have spread weapons (except LBX) then I am most likely gonna prioritize the Assault.
Face it, Piranha has crazy amount of DPS for its speed and size. One simply cannot treat it like any other Light.

Cause I can kill it or make it run away in one/two shots
and then only have to fight one mech instead of two.

The Piranah-1 Has more DPS than a Fafnir with 2x Heavy Gauss and backups.
I don't imagine there's many mech's with a higher DPS, and none with a higher sustainable DPS.

Nova with Micro ER/SPL combo has a higher DPS, and sustains really well (enough to kill a piranha)
