They probably updated the look since the original is well...pretty bland and likely fairly old.

So I'm a little disappointed by this image: That CT-mounted ERLL is supposed to be mounted somewhere ABOVE the cockpit, because it was originally in a dorsal turret (modified due to Harmony Gold, I get that, but still). I think it's well within PGI's rights and ability to move that hardpoint on THIS variant, since I've seen them do the same thing in the past: have a hardpoint in a different location based on which 'mech is using it. (Case in point: Timberwolf, left torso. -Prime has a single energy hardpoint which is mounted beside and below the cockpit. -A has three energy hardpoints, all of which are on the shoulder. You don't have to mount a side-mounted laser before the other two get shunted up to the shoulder). Harmony Gold's very nearly out of the picture (Finally! Sing praises and Hallelujah!), and I think that, as long as PGI continues to NOT put a turret on top of the 'mech, the can easily keep using the upper hardpoints that they have created in its place.
Same thing goes for the MAD-IIC-B: that right-side energy hardpoint should be shoulder-mounted, not chin mounted. It's intended to mimick the MAD-5D Inner Sphere variant, and that large laser is, once again, the vestigial "turret" weapon, and belongs close to the top of the 'mech. Just because it's in the chin on the MAD-IIC-1, doesn't mean it has to be in the same place on the MAD-IIC-2, or the MAD-IIC-B...

At first I was wondering what I'd even be able to do with this mech that I couldn't do with my collector variant of it, but then I saw the jumpjets. I'm ok with the chin gun though.

Yeah, this 'mech adds literally nothing that we don't already have. You could have built this weapon config on the MAD IIC-B, right down to the jump jets. All this does is move the Right Torso energy hardpoint into the CT.

Thanks a lot!
Now PGI, any chance we can get a Soundcloud preview of that ultimate warhorn?

It’ll be a good fast assault for people who have never experienced the joy (not being sarcastic) of the Marauder IIC. I’m definitely not going to thumb my nose at a free Marauder.

It just means the environment doesn't effect the cooling rate of the Night Gyr. They all have this quirk.... they operate the same in any map.
Wow, I've never noticed that on the other ones... That is pretty awesome.

So long as you bought it more than 4 and a half hours ago (06:00 GMT) then it will count. Otherwise, it will count for next year. You can always send a e-mail to support, see if they can help you out, if you only missed eligibility by a few hours.
