I haven't noticed quirks like this since the Battlemaster hero... but I loved them on that thing, so I'll have to play with my builds on the Gyr.

The Night Gyr had experimental Laser Heat Sinks, which are immune from environmental effects. PGI didn't feel like adding the laser light show, but they added the heat dissipation quirk to simulate, at least.
