Battletech Free Play Tabletop Area

Attention Mechwarriors,

this year at Mechcon Tabletop free play zones have been designated for daring pilots to hone their skills in Solaris style free for all action.

Attendees are welcomed to bring their own mech and record sheets from the cutting edge future of the 3060s era!

Of course, we will also have mechs on standby for those dispossessed mercenaries out there to drop into the action.

This will be in addition to the usual CGL Demo Booth! (and merch)

Look for it in the Mech Con Dining Area.

I dont know. I think a game like battletech go would be kind of fun. walk around town collect mechs and mech warriors but that's just me.

Just curious, any intention of supporting Alpha Strike at those tables? Knocking out a company vs. company battle in 45 minutes is quite satisfying; and it provides the opportunity to get the attention of people who may never have played Classic Battletech (CBT), but have played currently more popular games like Warmachine/Hordes, Warhammer, or 40k.

Shouldn't be a problem. Some of the official arena mechs didn't even have official miniatures iirc. Make sure the sheet is valid 3060 tech, that should be the main concern.
