Seriously? Literally the day of with no warning say, a week or two ago about this event to prepare? Agreed 100% with posts above me: screw you.

I was ready for this event weeks ago when it was announced. But, due to Centrylinks nationwide internet outage yesterday, that lasted 24hrs plus, I couldn't play to qualify. Totally bummed. I was really looking forward to it!!!

It said "Play 1 Match". Played one Faction Match and got the 25 stocking stuffers and didn't see the other rewards. Figured they kicked in later. Logged in next day. Quick Play Only

Hey chump not everyone lives on the home page here. The devs used to mail out notice for events well in advance. Mailing out notice during an event is just lame. Enjoy F5ing the homepage though. Apparently you have all the time to spend.

I've heard about it, but was way too busy with work, so I totally forgot about it yesterday. Logged in today, and turned out I missed the event, this sucks :c
Seriously, could you extend it or give the things away anyway? I've spent quite a lot of time in this game, played since, I believe, early beta and invested in some of the paid content. Feels cheap that missing just that 1 day screws it up.

Nice giveaway, sadly I too couldn't log on in the time window, I was away with family. I just did it in though case they do extend the window

If a real life means you cannot even get a measly 15 minutes to yourself , you are probably being exploited to the point of human rights violation . But I seriously doubt that . Even if you did work that day , You had time to eat and bath and sleep . Even if you got the message about the holiday bonus on the same day , you had 24 hours to figure out where to squeeze in 15 minutes .

Also event ran from 26th to the 28th so that's 2 days = 48 hours.

Event was also announced on FaceBook and Twitter on 6th, 19th, 20th, 24th, 27th.

But hey I'm pretty sure I saw this notice somewhere else every day for weeks...
Hmm now just where was that???
Oh thats right....
it was in-game with every login there's pop up notice we must click Dismiss just to play MWO.

And PGI (like most other games) does something around Christmas time, for example last year we got 2 free mechs.


Come-on people stop snoozing and join the rest of us and play MWO just 1 match once a week.
Or at the very least just log onto MWO at least twice a month, but I'd suggest every Friday just to not miss out.

or at the very least look at the website once a month I'm sure all cell phones nowadays has internet. it only takes like 10 min away from watching porn. but their was that big centerylink outage lucky I got it on the 26th. maybe if you contact Russ he would do something and extend it just need to reach out to him. send a support ticket. get enough people maybe they will do something

So much this. I was working the night it started, century link is out by the time I got home and was at work again when it finished.

Was Century Link out for approx. +24 hours??? (Because event ran for 2 days = 48 hours)

I would like to think that anyone who took the time to write in to support who could demonstrate in some way that Century Link is their ISP, then PGI would set them up with the rewards?

Your internet going out and it's the ISP's fault is an actual good excuse.

All of this stuff about I didn't know about the event because I don't follow the game well enough, or I forgot, or I had other things to do, is the player's problem, not PGI's.
