Yep, there is an unspoken rule in this game where if your team has achieved good position, you are obligated to offer it to the enemy team.

Now, they don't always accept the position upgrade, but the offer must be made.

Yeah, I'm generally a pretty aggressive player anyway, but once we are up and victory is highly likely I just attack. Generally it winds up with me dead quickly or getting 3-4 kills.

You are completely correct with your vague story. Your team did not nascar properly if they went into valley one at a time and didn't quickly make up into the enemies behind. Next time you have to tell them to group up and round into the tall bank. Remember too if they went in there one at a time, that was like eleven opportunities for you to jump in there with someone and make it at least too at a time.

So in the future do your utmost to help your team reach their fullest Jeff Gordondian potential and help maximize the vroom on comms (scream go, go, go let's push everybody move!!!) and mash you WA keys to lead the charge.

Well, if the default radio message system would not be more suited for 1994 than 2019, MAYBE things could be better. Yes I know there is a voice system embedded in game but : not all the player want to speak on it (I'm among them), not all player understand english enough to understand slang, accents, and so on. Plus very few people bother to both take lead and then impart commands.
In short, Counter Strike had better and more useful radio messaging 20 years ago.
I'm often in a position to need to write things, hoping team mates read them, while some more radio commands could cover 90% of QP needs.
