We were defending in FP, the attacking team not only refuses to open the gate, but also TKs anyone who tries. I censored the offending players, Wraith 1, who finally opened the gates, was TKed twice by his "teammates". Another player R53 was TKed for trying to open the gates.




The kills on the board are from me jumping out of the gate.

Actually don't tell me I already have a pretty good idea given two units are WELL known for it.


Just get the match ID, email them to support and they will look into it and warn/ban as needed. Even better if you have video but not needed with a match ID.

Wait, they refused to go in the gate, and they were IS???

Aside from that clear error, refusing to open the gate or even engage the enemy is clearly unacceptable.

That's just weird and wrong. Why the hell would they do that? Trying to grief a player/team on the defending side? Toxic play there.

I notice that Reckless is on the Blue team there, so I guess it was a comp team that someone might have been salty about facing? but even if it was, TKing to deny a game is beyond wrong.

Report them, request everyone else do the same, take video, and send it to PGI support via email as well.

He probably meant that even if the other team refuses to go in, a zero kill win is still a win for the defenders.

Such a ridiculous match. I was just poptarting for damage score at first, and they yelled at me on voice comms for even that—"don't give them the satisfaction", or something to that effect.

They seriously demanded that every player in that match simply stand there and do nothing until the match ended by timeout. All because they were salty they couldn't get any wins when you guys were in queue.

Not necessarily so. This game in a previous life was once about capturing planets given the constraint of time. Unsportsmanlike sandbagging served the greater strategic goal of winning planets. Do people complain with they run the clock in football?

As someone who gets regularly beat, stomped and clubbed in the various modes of this game, let me tell ya...just play the [Redacted] game, and that game is “Russ Bullock and Co’s Mostly Run Arround the Central Feature and Occasionally Peak and Poke but Whatever the Mode you Shoot the Other Stompy Robots Game.” That’s what we do. That’s what we drop for. Even in the nightmare realm of the “end game content” called Facion Play, and even if the whole “going through the gates is scary” thing is a bit much for you, you are still required by human decency and they very nature of the game to get in there, run around and shoot the other robots.

This shouldn’t be up for debate. You may be a Pug or a Seal or even part of a dreaded 12 man of comp folks, doesn’t matter. Get in there and do your requisite running around and shooting other robots and then move on. I can’t believe this sort of thing stilll needs explaining. This silliness has been going on since phase 2. With as concentrated as the population has gotten I would have thought even the rest of my fellow terminal bads would have grown beyond this. Sad.

There are quite many ppl playing FW, since it's the best game mode around!

Game is in a sorry enough a state on its own without the players acting like cesspools in human form, but given the lack of in game reporting options and PGIs typical 'video proof or it didnt happen' approach most people that do this sorta stuff get away with it.
