Cmooon, why the F did you have to completely remove Escort? It was barely showing up on vote screen and even then it only won half of the time but guess what?
IT WON BECAUSE SOME OF US ACTUALLY LIKE THE GAME MODE.
I am quite sure these delicate flowers could cope alright with the fact they had to stop playing HPG Skirmish once every 40 matches.
PGI you constantly show that the more numerous a Whiner group is, the more chances these special snowflakes have of having their whim granted. Yeah thank you, I'm gonna play a lot harder now that your repetitive game was made a bit more repetitive.

So presuming that they're reverting LRMs to how they acted pre-patch, why revert the RFL-8D and LRMs back so soon? I mean you left the Awesome's universal PPC HSL in to see how it impacts the mech and game then left it because it was fine.

I think it was a nice change I guess, have a few other games I often play so I didnt get to test it out, so well thats... gone..


Also, alot of nice changes in the most recent patches, PGI. Good. STILL Clan small pulse and in general somewhat inconsitent values between certain weapons. Wont go deeper on that..

can say alot about PGI.
But look at the [Redacted] Blizzard, Bethesda, Bungie etc are going through. What the [Redacted] world??
THESE big, these 3 x B developers were ones I grew up to love due to their amazing games. Now... corrupted... microtransactioned the living crap outta and so on.
PGI looks like a oddly bright little light for bringing back another niche, yes but beloved Battletech sub-genre, Mech Warrior.
Dont stumble in the coming year PGI.

Enough rambling, in short. The patches are on the right track, need some finetuning and including more feedback from potent player pilots ( no L33T, bigots and crybabies ).

I usually vote escort to get a free vote multiplier, not to actually play the mode. Just like choosing any other map than HPG, you still play HPG anyway but get a free multiplier for next time. Sometimes though (but not often), escort would win, and even people that voted for it didn't actually want to play.

Yeah, I can take or leave Escort mode, but the extra hardpoints on the Rifleman made it fun to play.

Good riddance with Escort. Very very rarely have a good game when that mode's chosen. More so than any other mode. It almost always ends up being a waste of time.
