Thanx Ohm,
This was a big help. I printed them and made a desk reference.

"And yes, this means you can talk about the game everywhere, post images, and upload videos of yourself playing on youtube." So what now?

Well, the plan was to make videos that would compliment my guides, while other covering more topics that are easier to show through video than to discuss in text. I already have my quick look video up, but there's also two big games launching in the next week that I need to cover (Dishonored and XCOM). So really it's just about fitting everything in. That, and I've also needed a little bit of time to think some things over.

The main reason for that is I didn't get the vibe that the developers really wanted to share my quick look with others, it took some effort to get something as simple retweet. I know they're capable of promoting others, I mean they've done some really great stuff for the guys at the Run Hot or Die, and PC Gamer of course. I haven't had much luck on my end though, even when I really tried to reach out on my own to line something up.

Honestly I enjoy MWO a lot and you guys are completely awesome, but I think there's a lot lacking when it comes to interaction between the devs and the community right now. I'm hoping that will change, because at the moment the majority of my motivation is coming from you guys.

Ohm, these charts are nothing short of fantastic. I'm sorry you're not getting love from the devs right now, but I'm sure they'll see the light eventually. And if not, you'll always be the "people's champion" anyway.

I have a few humble suggestions for improving the hardpoint/mech data sheet. It is by far the most useful single piece of information in these forums and it's what we use to determine what to spend our increasingly hard-earned C-bills on.

- Switch color-coding to match earlier MW games (ballistic is yellow, energy is red, missiles are green). This will make it even more accessible to new players.

- Add columns for tons of armor (default) and speed (default).

- Add something like "payload tonnage." In other words, the amount of tons free in the mech after stripping out weapons, ammo, heatsinks, and jump jets but retaining the default armor and engine. This tells us what amount of space we have to work with when coming up with a weapon loadout, especially since there's no "strip" button. When combined with the EHS and Ammo per Ton from the weapon data, this is all the info we would need to determine how much we can fit (aside from slots).

- To accomodate room for these suggestions, Narrow the AMS Location column to just "AMS" and abbreviate the locations to "LA" for left arm and "RT" for right torso, etc. Some of the other columns like Head and the total Ballistic/Energy/Missile columns on the right could be shrunk as well.

Thanks for your consideration!

I would like to suggest that everyone PM Garth. Be polite and ask him to recognize Ohmwreck and "Throw Him A Bone".

New version up. Changelog:

- Updated Hardpoints to "Classic" color scheme, reflecting the colors in previous mech game materials
- Corrected Commando engine data (was 210, now 215)
- Removed NARC missile heat / HPS
- Added more module information to reflect first two modules

If you guys don't like the new classic color scheme let me know, it can always be reverted. I've gotten the request from several people now though.

@Growlly - I will give the other suggestions some thought. I'm mainly trying to keep a balance between too much information and not enough. I want to make sure the sheets are readable by the average joe, and shortening stuff might be counterproductive.

Looks great, Ohm! I think I know where i could find armor and speed data for my own purposes (you intended it just for hardpoints, so I understand). Does anyone know if anyone on the boards has anything like the "payload tonnage" I asked about?

For example, I think the Raven 2X can take 16 tons. If nobody has this already, I'm happy to do some research.

Thanks to whomever PM'd Garth. Got a direct link in the weekly update. Glad to see the added charts since I was here last. Having a hard copy on my desk makes it so much easier to help people in game or in chat. So much better to be able to give a direct answer and then guide people here than to just say go read the forums newb.

Just what every min max power gamer needs, charts. I know I will be use the bits out of these. ;)
And let's do all we can to keep these as current as possible... with it being beta, things could change here and there, but for the core mechs, those are probably set, again it's only beta so anything and every "could" change.

I'm honestly not fond of the color change. It's far easier to attribute green to energy weapons than missiles, and red to missiles. I don't mind ballistics to yellow though.

I feel the same, but requests kept coming in to shift to the classic theme. Maybe I'll just have two versions with the original colors I used for missiles / energy.
