I have a Saitek X52 Pro and can say that it is well worth the money. Love it.

I almost wish I would have gotten a Saiteck x52 pro now, although I wasn't interested in a seperate throttle control. Maybe I'll change my mind once I start playing.

Joystick on one side, throttle on the other and keyboard in the middle.

Agreed. I like to play MW as a sim. Real mechs have joysticks and buttons. When I can afford it they will also have rudder pedals and a separate throttle.

I use the Logitech controller. It works for every game i have played including all the mech warriors. It is extremely cheap but I have one that has lasted about 8 years now untill one of the batterys inside exploded . Anyway I find that you dont have much accuracy with Joysticks since they have a stronger spring but with this you have two sticks (one for torso and one for legs) which are easy to control. Hope I helped!

Anyone know where I could get a full setup? I want to make this a sim... I'm going to buy a couple monitors too... hope it will have the support.. wonder what can all be put in? I imagine something like a flight throttle and a joystick with maxed out buttons... I also wouldn't mind have the throttle built into the joystick too.. I have no idea where to start looking... Google pictures is where I'm going to start LOL

I was digging into the idea of the Logitech G940 but the reviews and support are both awefu,l apparently. I am withyou as far as making a sim-pit. It may not be out now but I think the Razer 'Artemis' might be worth waiting for, looks nasty and being built for MW:O

FYI the Saitek X52 Pro is on sale @ newegg, $63 off the price :)

And just for kicks and ideas, if you haven't seen this guys set up check it out

I use the following CH products controllers:
  • CH Fightersitck: controls looking up and down and turning, as well as all of my firing, alpha strikes, radar, heat flush, chain fire, etc.
  • CH Pro Throttle: controls my speed, obviously, crouching, jump jets, and other various functions.
  • CH Pro Pedals: controls torso turn (wouldn't do it any other way; a twisty joystick would be too much of a pain for me)
LOVE this setup!
