The one thing that really irratates me about MWO is unlike most MMo's there's no Damage per second numbers on weapons nor is there any way to find out how you dealt you damage after a match.

DPS is easily calculated with a pocket calculator. Or your phone. And if you are too lazy for that, then use an online mechbuilder that presents said value.

There is no breakdown of your damage dealt in individual matches, but you can track your overall damage for each weapon type under Profile / Stats / Weapon stats.

I'd love to see damage dealt/received breakdown. Also it would be nice to have such important statistics as dsp, heat capacity and dicipation in game without using extra tools.

Damage received says absolutely nothing about what happened in the match.

A high number could be because:
- You positioned yourself badly
- Your teammates were inactive and let you take the brunt of the enemy fire
- The enemy team were bad at aiming, spreading damage all over your mech before destroying your CT

Still it'd be nice to see damage output breakdown after a match and DPS of weapons without using external tools..... not all of us are math majors out here or even like math for that matter. And we're not getting any younger some of us may have brain issues or we're just not as good at it as we use to be.

1 poor positioning leads to you taking less damage not more
2 again this situation is far more likely to lead to you taking less damage
3 it's far more likely you were better at spreading the damage than the entire other team having **** aim

however seeing a damage breakdown has nothing to do with that anyway. its not about seeing how much damage you took but how you took the damage. for example say you feel like you are constantly being killed by LRMs but see match after match that you are actually losing most of your CT HP to mid/long range direct fire weapons. now you can work on avoiding those rather than wondering why no matter how hard you try lrms are always killing you

same idea with the damage output you can use the data to see what weapons your doing the most damage with and improve your aim, firing and other aspects. Mainly i want to see if i'm actually holding my lasers on long enough to do damage....

Sure: https://mwo.smurfy-net.de/equipment
Of course, these are the base values that change based on your quirks and skill tree buffs (jam chance for UACs, duration for lasers, cooldown for anything that is not a Flamer, RAC or Machine Gun).
