[spoiler]
As is well known the ISENGRIM have always looked to take on a leadership role in the affairs of our state. However as we became more and more focused in competitive play our obligation to the heroic bands of FRR loyalists and mercs fighting all across the inner sphere went unmet; went unsupported.
Furthermore it has also been known that the ISENGRIM is actually a fairly small unit (we currently number 32 total players and that's actually up for us). We only recruited players that met a rigorous skill, commitment and attitude expectation.
I like to think that when we did show up to reinforce some beleaguered world, or when a dropping unit saw us join their numbers, that the those noble warriors did rejoice to have our support. But perhaps in the last days of this blighted and wane-full era our presence did not even account for that.
Since the end of our competitive run in the most recent World Championship many of my best Thegns have taken a break. This dying game and the strains of competing with the best in it have taken a heavy toll on us. So many practices, meetings, preparation. So much work.
But with WC behind us and our likelihood to play in comp again quite low, with many of my loyal members abandoning this game entirely, a decision has to be made.
Does the ISENGRIM fade away? Or do I make a change?
