Not quite done buying them all, because I didn't want to automate it in case they'd see it cheating as somehow, but I'm getting there. I've played right about 10,000 matches after the early stats reset. I can reasonably expect to use up all of these in the next 3-5 years, which translates into a 100,000,000 CB net gain over that time period. It's just simple math, really.

Do you expect to use more than 44 of them in your entire future MWO career? If so, then buy more, because ultimately that will translate into direct savings and increased net worth. If you expect to only ever need a few dozen of them, it's like saying you aren't planning to play much longer.

You must have a lot of spare (C-Bills) then, like on the order of many hundreds of millions, to make that kind of a huge investment.

I am unfortunately at a lack of such funds because I'm trying to save some (C-Bills) for some future Mech designing and Variant purchasing myself. Just really trying to not delay myself even longer through needing to gather more again all the way from scratch.

That, and I think I'm encountering a Bug with the Auto-Refill Function on Consumables right now. I will likely have to file at least two Bug Reports (one before the Monthly Patch, and one after) just to get the point across to PGI's Development Staff. Even though I possess 52 Cool Shots right now, they're failing to count back down. I don't think that's working right at all.

I've had that glitch happen. It's just visual, and once you hit 0, it won't let you save your loadout/drop into a match.

Anyways, yes, I'm sitting on hundreds of millions because there's literally nothing to spend it on. And with premium time, cockpit items, and hero mechs, I'm pulling in a lot of cash, especially since I tend to play efficiently. This is just going to let me make even more money over time.

The rich get richer...

What a wierd concept . I think they are awesome but I refuse to use em because i dont want to spend the cbills. Thats almost a skill point worth of Space Bucks . For some reason i am always short on that resource even with premium time and hero mechs .

You do feel its more or less of cheat than artillary strikes ?

That's your prerogative. However, since they're available for everyone, they're in no way some kind of unfair advantage. The only tangible issue is that players who aren't so good progress through the game much slower if they use a full rack of consumables every round. But even then, you'd have to be a real potato skin to not finish most of your matches in the black.

Also, I agree with the guy above that we should be able to buy stuff more than 10 at a time. Devs, give us a hotfix for that, and maybe extend the sale by a day or two.

Hi there. While I agree with your thought completely, I still find myself needing to bring up a note of warning. If they upped the allowed number of Consumables of a given type that could be purchased at one time, it would also create a hole where someone could damage your account even faster, should they manage to break in. So I suspect that PGI will be rather unwilling to allow up to 100 at a time, but they might find something more like 25 at a time to be more reasonable and allowable. We'll just have to see what happens.
