I switched faction, which reset my Faction Play game stats to zero.

Played a few QP matches, and I have 1/10 probation match left, which means I played 9 FP games because probation matches are updated in real time...

But my FP stats say I played 13 FP matches, which suggests something like some or all of my QP matches have been being wrongly counted as FP matches.

So this is a bug, right ?

The leaderboard remembers, every faction you where in.

So maybe you played a couple of matches in this faction for the Faction Play event, that was a month ago,
So the leaderboard remembers this couple of matches and shows them now that you have returned to this faction.

The only strange thing is, This should happen when you have finished your 10 Probation Matches. Not before.

Second thought.

You switched faction. Leaderboard remembers, and shows your couple of matches, you made for the Faction Play event.
Now you have to do your 10 Probation Matches. And after this 10 Probation Matches.
New games are being added up, to the couple of matches you made for the Faction Play event.

If you swap from loyalist to MERC, the stats disappear.

As in Loyalist stays there. MERC stays there.

Simply changing a contract as a MERC doesn't do anything.

So if I combine your explanations :
- I had previously performed dozens of FP missions to reach rank6 in the new Faction (back in 2017).
- Those dozens of missions were wiped out from my stats when I switched to Mercenary (back in 2017).
- I played 4 more FP games during that Faction swapping event from a ~month ago (back in 2018/Q4).
- Those 4 FP games stayed in my stats because I haven't switch back to Mercenary since then (2019/Q1).

Works for me, thank you for the explanation :)

Those matches where probably "deleted" when there was a total Leaderboard Reset. Season1 to Season 2.
In my opinion even when you switch from Merc to Loyalist, the Leaderboard remembers the values for Mercs and every Faction you played Loyalist in.

For example: You played 100 matches Wolf Loyalist. Then switch to Merc. Play 100 Matches Merc. Then Switch back to Wolf Loyalist. After your 10 Probation Matches it will show you your 100 Matches you made with Wolf.

And if you switch back to Merc the leaderboard will show you your 100 Matches you made with the Mercs.

See above switching from Mercs to Loyalists does not "delete" anything.
The reset of the Leaderboard from Season 1 to Season 2 made a clean sweep.
