You'll occasionally have allied forces fight alongside you, so yes.

I've been trying to find this info every where and now I finally find it in the MWO forums, Deploy-able unit size in Mercs 5. In MW 4 you could field 2 lances of mechs but Piranha's big "revival" of the series leaves us fielding a single lance? really? I was going to make a return to MWO with the Mercs 5 Ultimate pre-order but I needed this info first and sorry, I'm not pre-ordering if they cant even get this straight. We're going to operate a mercenary company but we cant actually deploy as a company despite the last Mechwarrior game that released 17 years ago letting us deploy two full lances. gtfo. Way to drop the ball.

I'll pass and wait to get it on sale some time down the road. Thanks anyway.

Seems like people will not get their 24 vs. 24 fix from MW5. I would have preferred to have lower graphics in turn for more mechs to command/fight against at a time, but I also understand that more mechs mean more pathing issues.

I never expected to field a full company (was expecting a Binary actually) much less a Battalion (2x Companies). It's 2019, hardware and software has come a long ways in the 17 years since the last Mechwarrior "Mechwarrior 4: Vengeance" released and despite that last release letting us deploy two full lances Merc's 5 limits us to fielding a single lance? Disappointed completely fails to convey how I feel about it.
