I hope that can also come with a time extension on the Mech Sale which is active right now. I don't understand why that's stopping several days before the Event that it's linked with will end.

Maybe our friendly Matt Newman can add 24 Hours to the Weekend Warrior Event? I had no chance to try over the actual weekend at the Match Score Challenges, and quite a lot of people don't get that chance either. It really would only be fair to make this Event Set a total of 5 Days instead of 4, just to not be any form of jerk to all those who don't get weekends.

...but let us seriously NOT be jerks in return to Our Friendly, Event-Launching Matt Newman (a.k.a. "Mr. Awesome"), alright? As it stands, I already owe him a big apology, just on the basis of how my own post from before the addition of Event Time has been worded. On top of that, I also can't blame him for not hitting the 'Quote' button in order to raise my own eyebrows, directly just on reason alone of my earlier posting. So yeah, let's watch the wording of our posts, preferably before Matt Newman (or more crazy, one of his bosses) decides they need to reach into the MatchMaker and rig it to send us all the way back to 'Tier 5' again.

I'm sorry for how my post from earlier (before you added the Extra Event Time) was worded, as well as for my mental demeanor at the time, and sincerely hope you can forgive me as I find in looking back at it now that how it was worded happened to be rather a bit rude. I'm even making this apology public, because I felt like I would be acting like a jerk to send it privately. I should have realized what I typed before, and apologized with the initial post that I wrote to thank you on these Forums for having made an Extension for everyone. I really should take the time to double-check my posts in the future, and being half out of my mind is no excuse, particularly versus my usually more gentle and constructive self.

Thanks Matt, the combination of events and the extension on the weekend warrior time is brilliant.

I have been suffering a bit from event fatigue lately (every year the October into December madness, can't even imagine how you must feel) and as such have not been enjoying the game as I usually do.
Firing up my old mastered mechs for this event was serious fun and with no Solo kills people were not behaving like Potato Prime, leading to some seriously fun games.

Keep up the good work, you and Tina are great brand ambassadors.

Matt, can you please extend the weekend warrior event once again following hotfixing racro and import/export expoits? I would like to play the game but very knowledge about these glitches is sufficient for me to assume/feel that every non-missile pilot is a potential abuser which honestly makes me sick. I know that only select few actually use it to test but any RAC or er LL build will trigger me nonetheless. Hope you understand.

So i've been running around for 5 matches now, grilling 4 mechs like no tomorrow.. counter said flamer damage 17/25.
PGI, please. 25 flamer damage are not even remotely the same as 25 lb5-x damage. Not mechanically and certainly not in terms of meta gameplay (you get face planted for trying to "flame" someone in game).
Flamer does 0,1 damage a second? That is 250 seconds of pure flaming.
Even boating a couple means still flaming for a good minute.

An lb5-x got like 3 dps. that is 30 times more then the dps of a flamer. 30.. THIRTY!
I think this could have been thought through a bit more carefully.
Other then that, great event! Makes me play different styles and builds and keeps the game interesting that way. Props.

@Mr. Newman: Thank you very much for the time extension. My own computer broke (badly) last Thursday (still in the repair shop, MIGHT get it back tomorrow) and as I have to borrow my father's my playtime is much more restricted than normally.

The camo was there the next time I started the game - I redeemed through the website. I do this most of the time, since the ingame event browser is really slow.

Any chance you could share a bit of that fun with me? I keep getting put with really bad teams that can't communicate, can't coordinate, and fail to keep each other alive and aware. It's like the MatchMaker itself is intentionally griefing me, and I've gotten a little tired of being a repeat Mashed Potato again and again. Getting stomped out of any chance at the Mech-Specific Challenges is driving me nuts here.

DV, just wanna point out that you just kinda flipped out on two posts that were first, probably meant literally(the newbs comment by lurmbaby) and second, a clear joke(pink Virago).

Not a personal attack, just can tell you're a bit out of sorts there bud, may want to take a step back and re-read the posts and see them from the perspective they were posted in. I say this as a dude who has a tendency to overreact at times myself, and with all due respect, as you often have highly constructive posts(more so than I generally do...). Hope the event and MM starts treating you better, I know how rough it can be at times.

Not sure if the devs see this at all, but i would like to thank them for the events they have put on since the last quarter of 2018. As a previous full time player of War Warbots IOS, I moved over to MWO when i got my computer upgraded. The appreciation for the players compared to that game is night and day. Those guys are out to bankrupt every player in the game. Any free stuff on that game almost requires you to quit your day job. I know guys that spent thousands of dollars. Anyways not to get into a rant about a different game, just want to thank for the event stuff and giving things that are useful and based on user input. i'm an OG mech player since MW2 and i still get a rush from this genre. Thanks for the great gameplay and the gear. Looking forward to the mw5 release.

Oddly it was over the weekend, was back to regular puggles last night. I try to avoid EU prime as the players are all Nascar all the time, you'd think they were from 'Merica

Heh... Maybe they were using the European Roundabouts all too often? Somebody needs to teach them about going around the other way. It might improve their outlook on life!

As it was, I ended up not having the weekend at access to me. I guess I'll just have to apply myself a bit harder, eh?
