The most challenging challenge in like ever haha. Well challenging is not really the word I would use and there's been more difficult (and bugged) events in the past, but lol 25 dmg might seam little but with flamers it took me 6 matches haha.

All I know is I think I was flamered more times last night than I ever have been. At first, I didn't know why I kept shutting down in a dual gauss mech. Then someone told me there was a challenge. LOL

And damage is misleading, it counts somehow else, engagements perhaps and not actual damage.

Same build for me. 1st match I did 22 Flamer damage, out of 600. It was Caustic.... Had a great time.

try it in solaris, supposedly they do more damage and less heat there. even better if you cripple your target, shoot off all their guns and then chew threw whats left of them with fire.

frankly they need to offer more than a bad camo and some knick knacks for me to even bother with it.

Let me just say that I appreciate everybody that is working on this challenge, while I am trying to skill my double LBX10 Black Widow.

Feel free to finish it before I switch to my regular Mechs, though.

Nope. I want the LBX10s for the better range. I do have 4ML on it as well, plus an AMS. Not that I can shoot the Lasers when people are standing in front of me with flamers.

Put a pair of flamers on my Lanner alongside the MGs. Took about 8 matches to get 25 flamer dmg...

i got an mrm40, 3 lb2s, and a couple ermls on mine. works wonders. not that i dont have other whammies with dual lb20s.

not tried myself, but i believe that putting 15 flamers on a dire is possible...

i got this nut cracked.

i took that loyalty linebacker (the one with the jjs) and put 6 5 flamers on it, and sinks lots of sinks. then i dropped in solaris div 3. i managed 15 flamer damage in one game. taking advantage of the fact that flamers work differently in solaris. a second game netted me another 9. that stacked with previous attempts. now all i need to do is run one of my adders to get the other things. lol.

seeing that i did this in 2 games where i was actually trying (and a few where i just happened to have flamers equipped), im going to have to disagree with the notion that this is the hardest event ever. 'to the victors' keeps that title. holy hell that one was frustrating and hard and it took more than a couple games.

Macro your flamers like RACs or MGs. If they have no CD it should work just the same. That'll be almost 40% DPS increase.
