[Tier5 Kerensky]

Was there some hotfix between now and last patch? There was an update on Steam. I logged in to finish the weekend warrior thing. The updated seemed small, as it passed in few mins. That's maybe 50-150 MB.

I just don't see any post about hotfix. It couldn't have been the patch itself as I've completed nearly most of the weekend warrior, which started after patch.


Okay aparently it was some Steam thing only that happened on many or all Steam games.

I only had 79 MB of update.

I only use the MWO patcher and no patching today.

Yep about that size it was, I didn't check as Steam doesn't display it on the small update window, just estimated the size based on time.

I don't know when it came, I played some over weekend, but I might have not played in about 2-3 days.

Perhaps the game corrupted some files, and was redownloaded?

Pretty sure Steam doesn't do any automatic checks. Plus it would take longer time to do checksums and them compare them.

Maybe it doesn't matter if people using the portal didn't get anything.

Steam patched my game too, so it's no repair stuff. I really hope it's a hotfix for the RAC/MG exploit.

I think Steam is doing something funny. I just had a bunch of 0/0 bytes updates for other games.

There was some kind of infrastructure Steam patch. I had 40 games get tiny updates

all my games on steam kind of updated without new update guess it's steam related problem.

There's something scheduled for tommorow, the in-game scroll says "server maintenance", now this could be related to the racro or the import function. The in-game message has been there a few hours. Be nice if someone official could put something into the announcements forum to say what it is...

As mentioned, steam system wide update on some of the C++ redistributables. After the first, for most games it will be a 0byte update. Definitely not MWO specific, nearly every steam game I have installed has an update queued, ie 15 out of 19. Only 1 done had any size and that was the first one at 100mb.

Yes, it looks like it's a steam thing. After seeing this thread I checked my steam account and I have 21 games download updates throughout the last day and have about a dozen more scheduled for later.
