This. Even when the game is so horrendously unstable in all sorts of aspects, I would STILL be happy if PGI simply kept injecting mechs as a prioirity...but um...preferably 2 TIMES FASTER? So much bloody time just waiting. Do you UNDERSTAND HOW LONG A MONTH IS? That's an eternity.

Poor Anthem.
Poor Fallout 76.
Poor games-as-a-service except they have no content at launch.
I'm glad games like Path of Exile, Warframe, and yes even MechWarrior Online, have grown past their minimally viable product days.

You know that kind of goes into what I think about MWO as well. Despite all this ABSURD amount of bad will between the company and the community, this game is definitely not pay to win. I mean, I play nothing but 2 hero mechs, but they're hardly good ones. Any hero mechs that are better than average are more because they have strong ties to the base meta of the game, which is hardly the fault of the wallets of customers.
I have been playing game nonstop for around a month now since I came back and I can't stop. That takes great foundation. Despite this unstable situation (ie decline, but worded in a way that blames PGI and not the success of the ip itself), I think this game has all it needs to be incredibly successful with what it already has.
