Alright mechwarriors and salties,

I am thinking Div 1 is good as is except for maybe the Arctic Wolf 2, compared to the 1 it is just not as good and I have yet to see anyone take it. Why it was bumped up in the first place I do not know.
Div 2 NEEDS that little Piranha to be bumped down. Too many assaults that are powerless against it.
Div 3 I think the Nighstar will be bumped up.
Div 5 the Kintaro should be bumped up.
Div 7 the hellspawn with 6 med pulse. It was too good on the Pheonix hawk and it remains so on this mech.

What is the consensus from those that actually play Solaris?

div 1, bump all kdk and mad cat MKII down to div 2 so they have a fun division to fight in without annis

Hunchies down from Div 4 to 5. I play Hunchies allot, still since they were out dated, but most of them are snipers from behind cover and you have to be very sneaky in QB, because they are to squishy. A Hunchie against a Black Knight? No chance, not in Solaris.

I also don't see a reason for Timberwulfes, Gargoyles and Stalker in Div 2.

Kintaro is fine in Div 5 IMO.

There are situations where it's strong but also where it's weak. I beat other good player this season not running a KTO. Last season I ran a KTO and performed similar. It's weakness is the SRM spread and mobility but it picks up in survival vs other more mobile mechs.

Idk jump jets help the Griffin but the Kintaro has more firepower and armor. Maybe it could stay. I suppose we won't hear about any changes until this season is over unfortunately.

They don't post much about Solaris any more. Just look at the stickies in this section...they posted the first season results almost instantly, the second season results a few days later, and still haven't bothered with posting the third season results.

Yeah I would like to know if they plan for anything further in general for Solaris or is it done as is.

Yeah usually in the patch notes I think - usually missing a few mechs as well lol
