Would the new mechs be unusable until I buy mech bays? I saw the mech sale and I'm intrigued by the Blood Asp, Black Lanner and Thanatos but I don't want to buy mech bays at full price.

I've never tried to buy a mech without an empty bay but I'd assume it would tell you that you don't have any open bays and not let you purchase a mech until you do.

^ They are correct. You can't buy mechs if you don't have bays. All the packages come with the necessary bays, but not sales like these where you buy the single mech from the store in-game.

If you buy them it will auto load a mechbay in your cart. If you dont have the mc it will not let you buy it.

You get told you can't.
Then you go and sell something to make room...
And with it goes a part of your soul.
Now if you have the MC, it'll automatically buy a mechbay by having it in the cart when you go to check out.

I bought a bunch of mechs today. you need to ensure that they come with a mechbay. mechs you buy with C-bills usually dont come with them. This is where buying those legendaries is worth it, because they unlock mechbays in their battle pass

depends on how you buy. mechs from the web store and steam come with bays, but mechs from the in game store require them (mastery packs, if they still do those, might be an exception).
