The mech bay has some filters yes but I would love to have what Kill2Blit's MechBD has, or a fraction of it, eg filtering by ECM, or having a certain type of hardpoint or not.

Hell, I'd just like a color separation for inbuilt chassis quirks, and those gained by the Skill Tree, trivial as it may be. Otherwise, this: filter capability similar to that would be awesome.

I'd like if we could filter by mechs that are skilled out (all 91 nodes) or not (less than 91).

Sometimes I want to stomp and so I'll take out already badged mechs, other times I'm trying to level and want to find mechs without all their skill nodes. For now I use the favorite stars.

All the other suggestions in this thread are great too. I'd be very appreciative to get these features.

Other improvements

Friends list that is accurate. Sometimes when you try to add a friend to your group it says their offline when they are shown as online.

More in game coms
A few more commands would help. Like retreat, I'm out of ammo, etc

would love a "get the hell out of here" and a "i'm out of ammo" command.

so many times at the end of games I'm running around in an almost dead flea, trying to carry and I don't have the time/space to sit and ask "HEY KODIAK WHATS YOUR DEAL MATE CAN YOU PLZ HELP" and he's just putzing around. Like bro, just say "i'm out of ammo"

same with a retreat command.

Hey dude, I know it's not always possible to press R on 6 dudes standing around a corner coming this way, but it'd be nice to be like DON'T GO THERE

Ok... I'm gonna catch shite for this.. but a "unranked" qp que with less rewards. This would give the "but I just wanna have fun " crowds an outlet.

Also needed;
-20% C-Bills, +10% XP or maybe GXP, +1 Free Skill Point for every game you que, consumables are free.

Drunk MWO is gogo (At the end of the day this type of thing could be for leveling new chassis).

take it a step further and allow for tagging mechs so that you can do a keyword search.

This improvement would be great, but it doesn't bring in cash, so good luck getting PGI to spend development resources on it.

If a QoL addition is determined by the least amount of effort required, how about adding 3-5 more "favourite" tags. Right now there's only 1, the Favourite Star icon. Add a circle, triangle, square, so I now have 4 tags to used to group my mechs into whatever I want the 4 icons to symbolise. This would be a cheap way to give players more filtering/sorting options than what's currently available.

There could be like gazillion mech building features from Li Song Mechlab and MechDB that would make building a mech way faster and easier.
