Congrats, you managed to kill the FP Clan queue, at one point I saw 40-8.

I don't know when you were playing, but it was quite the opposite of that around 12-3am EST.

Infact, clans actually turned some planets last night.

Playing right now and for the last 2 1/2 hours.

I've played many players and units that I know and know who's grouped up with who.

It seemed to be a split in the timezone playerbase. The majority of (semi)organised groups, whether it be units or simply TS/Discord groups in the EU TZ appeared to be IS, whereas a few hours later the NA players started to come online and it was mainly Clan groups.

Meh, I was a touched drunk, tired and salty last night when I posted this. The PuG zappers are gonna zap and everyone else will do whatever they are gonna do, pay me no attention while I sit in my rocking chair and reminisce through my rose tinted spectacles.

i just finished getting stomped by FUSION + Hazelclaw + Friends. Its all good! they are lovely people and good sports. Although my team ended up getting pretty damn salty about the whole thing. There was talk of AIMBATS, ragequit, etc etc.

Whatever just have fun. if you aint having fun, dont play anymore.

Lots of Germans playing FP during EU primetime and they tend to be Steiners. Russians play either side. Hungarians play clans but smaller of a population compared to Germans. I think these people form the main demographic for EU primetime.

Is it that people like IS more than Clans ?

Clans are ******** not actually based on anything real world related.

IS are literally all based on real world countries.

The complaint is that a large portion of the active (and hence grouped up) FP population switched to IS at or around the same time. Making the queue numbers hugely lopsided and the stomps just as lopsided, the same is still true.... currently 1x Clan 12 pilot group vs 3x 12 pilot IS groups. It makes it extremely difficult to get drops for both sides as the stomps chase away all but the hardiest of solo pilots and the queue then stagnates at 15-5 or similar. Then it is ONLY the premade groups getting games and only one IS premade at a time.

Only way to really keep it balanced would be to allocate players to a side as they queue.
However, that defeats the purpose of forming groups, being in units, picking mercenary or loyalist and picking a faction...... oh wait...

Bring back IS v IS and Clan v Clan - - always used to sort this issue out and was actually great fun as well!
