Hey fellow Canucks [in particular], when you pre-order the game you don't get slammed with U.S. exchange rate and/or extra taxes. I went in to buy the basic bundle at $49.95, thinking it would balloon up to around $75.00 CND.

Well, surprise, surprise, the Caninflation rate for the new title didn't hurt my wallet much at all.

So, if you've been turned off from some purchases in the past that magically inflated right before your eyes, fear not and take advantage of the bonus loot PGI is offering at the moment.

So you paid $49.99 CAD, or are you saying the exchange rate isn't as bad as you thought it was? Giving PGI $64 CAD after exchange rate is still a no go for me

I got billed $49.99, Vxheous. I was surprised, as PGI normally hammers us when we buy Mech Packs, with U.S. exchange and taxes.

Well, I am not a plant for PGI, Bombast... but I was a little shocked that I wasn't getting screwed through the PGI payment system as per normal with U.S. exchange and taxes. Honestly, I [expletive deleted] hate that as a Canadian, I normally pay a Canadian company in U.S. funds. It makes no sense, and is one of the reasons I stopped buying Mech Packs. Well, that, and the lack of new map development.

Mine was expressed in HRK, (Croatian Kuna) and was the exact daily exchange rate as I expected.

Also, I was surprised and rejoiced that I got 4 different MWO content codes.. One for the MC and GXP bonus, one for the Marauder II standard, one for the extra special MWO mechs, and one 4 the Cockpit items..

These redeem codes can be redeemed separately on different accounts.. So technically you could add some on your primary account, some on your Girlfriend's or buddy's account, and some on your secondary, tertiary or other account (if I understood it correctly)..

And the game itself is it's own account, so that's not MWO connected..
