And you can do some nasty builds on them now.
HGN-733 with 4x ASRM6, 1x AC10, 2x LPPC, 325 LFE.
HGN-733P with 2x HPPC, 2x MRM10, 1x MRM20, 325 LFE
Try double RAC2, triple ML and MRM40 on 732B.

I tried with RAC2 and RAC5 with MRM30, but having a rac2/5 mix creates sooooo much heat compared to double 2 that it is just not worth it, resulting in less damage overall.
I find a lot of success and sustain with this, give it a try if you will

Well then, I may have to buy a 732B. I've been Highlander-less for a few years now but I remember loving them (especially with 2xPPCs and an AC20) when jumpjets were jumpier.

Just remember that you cannot fit an AC20 on the 732B due to upper+lower arm actuators.
Victor however can do that since it has lower+upper on one arm only, allowing for full movement on both hands.

catapults, ravens, jenners, mechs like that. the jenner iic for example that i used a lot in mechwarrior 2 is just something that gets instagibbed or outright legged under the current scale and hitboxen. it was fun when it was new but its not in a good place now. the summoners lost a lot of mobility in favor of st lasers and more laser boating. the new catapult variant thats coming out next month will probably be a nice change of pace, but i doubt its going to be a game changer.

Wubacada usually treats me well.
HBK-P is being slept on a little in Solo, i think. You can get some free trades with that hunch vs Potatoes and ghetto ECM helps as well.
Im eyeing the Griffin 2N.
MRM+Wub Stalkers can sandblast.
Spiders, i love them.
Locusts too.
400LT Banshee needs a look as well. Maybe Wubs?

I play my R63 with a 180 standard engine with 3 MPL and 3 LMG with max JJs. Lots of fun and very durable on top of being lightning quick. Similar build on my Street Cleaner, but with a LFE 210 and ERMLs. Would love it if there was some sort of oneshot ballistics that mimic the RLs, like a recoiless rifle or something (which technically does exist as a crew service weapon).

Catapult has been buffed immensly by the rescale fkup tho. It is tiny for 65t, which makes it a very strong mech in combination with mobility and being XL-friendly. Mobility is key if you want to make it work.
Raven is still in the same spot its been since forever. Rather good when nobody sees it and utterly horrible when someone does. Still good for peek-a-boo, still bad for brawling, but then again it was never meant to be a brawl mech.
Jenner has indeed been fked up royally twice, with resize first and then addiotional idiotic transfer of armor from arms to side torsoes. Still feels incredibly nimble and remains one of the best mechs for 'kiting'. Just don't expect it to brawl.
Summoner with dual ERPPCs or dual UAC10s remains one of the best mechs in current state of the game. If highest tier comp teams use them it kinda says something.

the 732 has some good ones too.
HGN-732: 1x Gauss rifle, 3x MPLs, 3x ASRM6 LFE 325.
HGN-733C: 1x AC20, MRM 50, 2x MLs, LFE 325
HVY-MTL: RAC5, RAC2, 3x MPL, 2x MRM10 , LFE 330 or LB10, 3x MPL, 2x MRM10 , LFE 330, 5x JJ
Cataphracts are good as well, huge armor with skilltree. the loyalty variant can hit 105 kph using MASC, an AC20 and 4 MLs at 84-105 KPH is fun
