the takeaways from conversations so far are:

"move along, nothing to see here"

"how dare you low tier pugs point the finger at our royal highnesses?"

I'm willing to grant benefit of the doubt, that what we see there is a "headshot contest"...

but its still questionable for sure and doesn't look legit.

The real takeaway is that the mods need to do more than just remove posts and target the players who actually try to raise concerns and get cheating/exploiting addressed in some kind of rational way.

lol, I'm not surprised these guys are the ones doing something like this

what I am surprised at is that anyone can be bothered to do this, or anyone cares (I didn't know anyone still played solaris)

Remove the first 10 matches elo boost.
Remove the 25 match requirement.
Add daily elo decay.
To balance for elo decay have a slightly larger elo gain during early season and have it taper down towards the end, so someone can't just show up the last week and walk away with the cheese.

I don't like the ELO decay idea. That will punish people who can play one part of the season but not another. But the 10 match boost needs to be done away with and the 25 match requirement really doesn't do anything to help the game.
