yeah I recognize that, but still, I don't think it'll be anywhere near as easy to skyrocket to 2600

that said, I'd still rather see it go away completetly

Even if you play until you get to the top ten and stop you will see people play only each other when their ELO is high again most likely.

if there are people dropping like they are now, there will be the odd matches where the highball guy gets matched against the 900 potato too tho

If you do the math, with the current reduced boost, it’s no possible to get that high a score in 25 matches without playing other players that already have that kind of score. Now you’re going to have to play skilled players, and beat them, often to get tha same kind of score.

I still believe that the best system will be no elo boost, or reducing it to a “first win of the day” type sysem.

Also fix the "unable to wait in multiple queues at once" design failure.

A distant 3rd priority is adding a S7 QP 2v2 option for the rest of us.

Well that is the way to fix it to be honest. I suppose it shouldn't break anything in the matchmaker as you'll be queueing with a different mech on each division (of course)? Its so stupid when I have to for example farm divs 5, 4, 3 and I have to pick one and stick with it and hope someone else finds me there.
