As much as I want to see a stone rhino, I feel like we have to get some more medium and lights releases. I feel like I've been playing with 6 assaults a game since the IIC came out, and we've gotten 2 assaults since then ha.

oh look the usual standard event for new mechs...how resourcefull^^...
yea the phranken Camo for the Mad2 is ugly as hell,wished the Phranken would look more like the phranken on the K2 for the Mad´s..hm..snowfall camo^^..not much better.
curios when they will bring more interesting camos like the Bucaneer or good looking phranken.
The phranken for the daishi & Timby is an insult. the only mech where phranken camo looks good is the K2

I am trying to love the Mech, but it is as painful to skill up as any Assault. And it feels like a huge, slow target that can't carry enough firepower, except for the missile variant. At least it seems a little more durable than my Atlas.

I weep for it.

The "normal" baseline iconic Marauder is one of the few mechs where I have multiples of the same variant and all of them are mastered. It is a classic mech that also performs well in MWO.

The clan MAD was ok but the MAD II inner sphere ... I weep for it. Marauder II the ultimate joke.

I have not tried an XL on the MADII, because XLs on most IS assualts are not viable. I am just curious if anyone has tested this?

no idea mate, I never use xl in anything but lights who die when hit anyway.

With all the nerfs to laser vomit the MAD-4A is really just does not seem to be competitive. Overall, I think it is a nice addition to the game and feels different from other IS 100 tonners since it has jump jets and different geometry but I wouldn't recommend anyone buy it over some of the others. I got over 1k damage in a COR-7A but am struggling to break 250 damage in the MAD-4A even though I have two of them since I have a (S) and a regular. If you want to buy a 2019 assault, pick the Corsair.

ERLL, actually, but it's not like that would've helped the MAD-II anyways.

All lasers have been progressively getting nerfed over the past year or so except maybe standard Large Lasers? Laser vomit is a lot weaker than it was
