I spent 3 days asking for help, for recruiting from units. 3 days I got ignored by the whole community, no exceptions.

Because of this, no reason to stay, unless an unit wants to call me, that I doubt, after 3 days ignored.

you want to get in a unit.. Find regulars.. people who are on when you are on..

Be on around the same time weekly... find friends...

Ive been thru a lot of units.. lots of groups.. long list of friends.. constant invites

There are good ways of asking people for a unit to join, and then there are these kinds of posts.

Wouldn't it be better to post your desire for a unit in the recruitment section? Or even PM unit leaders in the unit recruitment section? Or even post in matches that you're looking for a unit. Gen. Disc isn't exactly the place for it but I don't think you're making yourself look very good or indeed, a good prospect for a unit.

A thread in the unit recruitment section or posting in game would be much more productive imo.

I can understand feeling rejected or not having a place to belong or ppl to play with but the way to change the situation starts with your own attitude about things.

Just go to the public TS servers and ask around there to be picked up as an alternative if nobody answers you in here.

I have a recommendation for you. Pretend you are not you,you have no knowledge of the contexts of your posts you are just reading them for the first time.

Think about what kind of person you are coming off as to the community as a whole while having a completely objective opinion about you post history.

Do what I just did. I looked up you posting history and to be honest you come off as toxic negative and very abrasive. In general not qualities most people look for in a unit member.

Right about now you are probably feeling like I am insulting you. I am not I am providing you with a probable and objective reason for why you may be lacking in success when attempting to join a player unit.

Sometimes it's not what other people are doing wrong sometimes it's what you are doing wrong.

I am not one for coddling people so I am going to lay it out for you.

It's time to pack up the victim complex. Reduce your salt output and thicken up your skin. This is the internet and people don't have to be nice and frequently they won't be nice.

I only glance at threads nowadays and maybe jump in on an event... but no exceptions to ignoring this person whom i don't even know, heard of, or even seen this alleged 3 day old original post.

I tried asking like that once. No one responded. Instead I found a unit's page that matched my interests. And there you go. But if your looking for old friends. A lot of people have left the game over the years. Cant' expect people to drop everything to find them for you.

You're going about this all wrong. Create your own unit, and chat up players who you notice do not have unit tags while you play in Quick Play. Send out invites if they are open to playing within a unit structure and get along with you. Voila!
