Real shame too. I stopped spending money on my pay account (not this one) several months ago because the future and direction of the game were unclear. I've gone pure F2P at this point for the same reason. So PGI's poor management of MWO is costing them money even in its waning days. No interest in MW5, but like someone else said, I'd kill for a proper successor to MWO.

Only two weeks after originally mentioning the possibility of a podcast, and it will probably be a full month after the the original tweet before they put something out. Seems to me that it would have been easier to just do a normal announcement for whatever the "few updates" are with further details being put into the podcast to come later.

I'll buy the collector's pack. Kill me in game and I'll buy you one too.

They could be setting up to announce all the classics and that'd probably tie into MW5 somehow.

Valkyrie, Chameleon, Crusader & Longbow with Stinger/Wasp as reinforcements.

Of course they could also be gearing up to do IS omnis.

Or they could be winding down. Maybe this is how MWO goes out:

Not with a bang,
Nor a whisper,
But in silence.

Those are some pretty forgettable 'Mechs, performance-wise, to be in an "Unforgettables" pack.

The Legacy has more to offer than the Crusader. It's got super high mounted torso ballistics which all 80-tonners currently lack (80-tonners lack high mounted weapons in general). You get some complimentary HoverJets™. One guaranteed variant would swap those ballistics for energy (LGC-03).

...But on the other hand everything else is mounted pretty low tho and it would have a sucky 290 engine cap on at least 2 variants (the aforementioned LGC-03 would have a good cap tho). Also those ST hitboxes.

I looked it up before I submitted my post.

High mount ballistics (and HPPCs) are nice, side torsos wider than 1980s shoulder pads are not.

The Rising Star - a Mech that could be used even in MW5.

Otherwise its the Legacy (an the commission is the LGC-03 the Mech used by Precentor Geoffrey Zucker of the 36th)
