All I'm hearing are more excuses. To the chair!
On a more helpful note, perhaps getting on TS3 with some of our European members and hearing them pronounce it will help.

...snicker... so many places we could go with this one.
At this rate we are going to just get flat out banned from the game.
Perhaps they need a little "convincing"? Do we have any more of those nice executive chairs we gave Dihm?

In any case I just wanted to throw something out there for those that come digging through this thread and want to join up. I don't doubt that I'm in the minority in the slightest in the community at the moment, but prior to very recently I had absolutely no knowledge of battletech or mechwarrior. Take a glance at my post count and you can see I don't post around on these forums that often because I really don't care to pretend I have a working knowledge of everything. I still don't consider myself well-informed, but hey I'm digging into it all quite a bit and loving what I'm finding. That being said, I decided to go over and register on the Skaldborg forums and I've been made to feel very welcome, despite my lack of knowledge. If you're looking for a friendly group we can take care of that. As far as communities go, I'll wager that by the time release rolls around this will be one of the most appealing if for no other reason than its roots being based and growing from such a small base.
Skjaldborg: mead, wenches, winning.
(had to end on a proper note )

As for pronouncing Skjaldborg... it aint that hard. ill make sure to have a session on teamspeak with you dihm. Now, pronouncing Portoguese, that IS hard. "Otórenolaríngologista" being a personal favorite of mine.
