That's where the rest of you come in! Come help fill our ranks and help us smite our enemies and leave them broken and bleeding!

Our lance is named as a reference specifically to the Norse god Dagr, son of Nótt and Dellingr who was credited with towing the sun across the sky via his horse Skinfaxi. So it is fitting that we light the way for our team.
We function as the recon lance for Misery Loves Company. Like any good reconnaissance unit, our primary mission is to find and relay the enemy's location to give our stiker units the information they need to bring the pain and the supply our support units with targets to make it rain.
Beyond that, we'll be doing our best to provide a tactical distraction to the opposing force by getting in their heads and being relentlessly annoying them using whatever legitimate means necessary to force bad decisions on their part.
Recon isn't about a mechwarrior's own personal glory from a high kill/death ratio or going hero. It's about finding team success by empowering the other units with the resources that will make their jobs easier.
In the spirit of Misery Loves Company, our lance will be focused on a more serious (but definitely not too serious) approach to MWO than some of the other units in the Skjaldborg.
Our active times will generally be towards the later end of the night like the rest of Misery Loves Company tending to be along the lines of 9PM-3AM EST.
If this sounds like your kind of game plan, current members can check out the main page for Misery Loves Company for more information on what we're about if you haven't already. If you're interested, contact Skoll, Sardonic, or myself and we'll go from there.
For the Skjaldborg! For Rasalhague!

We are currently undergoing routine maintenance. I think you were hitting the application section (looking at your post time) as I was turning off components.
Site should be back up in an hour or so, and thank you for your patience

We have exceeded our ability to house people within a Square Regiment structure, so we have gone ahead and made the move to Brigade. All of the existing Battalions will be bumped up to Regiments. For now, they will only contain 2 Battalions within them, until those fill in. That gives us 2 new companies to fill in per Regiment.
In most cases, the 4th Company will now be the 1st Company of the 2nd Battalion. The exception to this is the Svinfylking. The existing 4th Company of the Svinfylking will now be the 3rd Svinfylking 1st Battalion 2nd Company. The existing Svinfylking 2nd Company will now be the 3rd Svinfylking 2nd Battalion 1st Company. This will ensure that we retain one GMT Company per Battalion.
Please be patient with us the next couple of days while this transition takes place. We are building a structure for the future, and since we are having a large influx of people now and more coming very shortly, we need to be prepared.
