I don't mean to offend anyone or make this group look bad, though.
Maybe it's a genuine mistake and you'll be glad someone pointed it out, or maybe I just didn't do my research and am making a fool out of myself.
What he says is that "Skjald" is the danish spelling of skald, a viking troubador. And that you likely meant to say "skjoldborg".
It's a direct translation of "shieldwall".
He's from Norway, and he says you use swedish as inspirational language.
He is also confused why your recruitment office is in a norwegian city, although I'm pretty sure that means a planet in the Battletech universe, and not the norwegian city.
Of course I'm not very knowledgable about the Mechwarrior Universe, and it could all make sense the way it is due to some official background I don't know, and that my friend is even less likely to know.
He says that you should be using Icelandic if you want to do a viking theme, then again, we don't know if there is a in-universe reason you aren't using it, and this is after all THE FUTURE, so not all viking rules apply.

Here's a few debriefs of the matches!
Conquest, Anything Goes: Caustic Valley - Ramrod on Industrial side
Mongoose sent a majority of their forces to Theta from base, with 3 fast movers picking up Epsilon early on. Mongoose main force encounters murderball of Ramrod, and get pushed off theta before they can cap. After Mong. fast movers take Ramrod home base they return across Cauldera and hit rear of Ramrod's force, delaying but not preventing their destruction. With 2 fast mechs against the 5 of team ramrod, Ramrod hurries to split up and cap points to kill Mongoose's huge lead. Mongoose pick off Jager heading to theta followed by a Cicada and Cent one by one, but as they split to counter cap the remaining Ramrod mechs take Epsilon, Mongoose's last held point. Mongoose attempts to counter cap but is overrun in points as Damon's Cicada is downed near theta, and Ramrod wins by cap.
Assault - 500 ton limit (rolled by Haki): Forest Colony Snow - Ramrod on High side
Mongoose went with 5 light mechs to try and cap win the enemy by rushing the caves. Ramrod Cent spotted the move and team moved to counter. Mongoose hid some mechs in the cave while others distracted the defenders, including Mongoose base defenders who attacked at max range. Ramrod pushed assault force through the caves, leaving 3 mechs to defend. Damon from the water and the rest of the lights from the caves swarmed the 3 defenders, while Ramrod's assault force took on Mongoose's defenders. Mongoose defenders held out long enough for lights to finish off Ramrod defenders and beat Ramrod to a cap win.
Assault - 2:2:2:2 Trial mechs: Forest Colony Snow - Ramrod on High side
Mongoose sent 2 ravens to hide in back of caves early on. Both teams squared off in long-range duels, until Ramrod pushed through the caves to engage at close range. One Mongoose dragon managed to break off from the close range fight while Mongoose ravens went to cap, with Mongoose defenders holding off Ramrod long enough for the 3 mechs to cap. Mongoose wins by cap.
Mongoose wins series 2 - 1.
Ramrod wins KDR 15 - 12.
Conquest, Anything Goes: Alpine - Hildsvini on North Base
Gleipnir spawned on South Side, and split into two groups, fast movers(Recon Lance) and heavy firepower fast movers(Battle Lance). Recon Lance moved to Theta, capping, then proceeded under cover of mountains to Kappa, while Battle Lance capped Epsilon in the centre. Recon found Hildsvini's main battle force sitting at Kappa, and retreated before engagement, drawing Hildsvini's battle force towards the Battle Lance. Using their continued speed, Recon continued to and capped Gamma, the enemy base. At this time, Battle Lance engaged the main battle force, which was lacking in mobility, became tied up with Battle lance. Hildsvini continued to push forwards and capped Sigma, while Recon lance capped all other bases and thus secured the win by cap.

Assault - 400 ton limit (rolled by Damon): River City Day - Hildsvini on High side
Gleipnir split into two groups, Battle group and Recon group. Recon group went wide G line, sweeping up through lower city until reaching enemy base. Battle group travelled north using all available cover towards the opposite side of River from Enemy base. Recon group did not meet any opposition at the time, but discovered the main enemy battle group near Citadel, and goaded the enemy to return to their base. While they were retreating back to their base, engaging Recon group near their base. Battle group moved across the river, finding a lone Atlas at the rear of their formation. Engaging, a roiling brawl took place around the Dropship sitting on the pad. While Recon group extracted themselves from engagement, Battle group moved in and begin taking down enemy 'mechs. Fighting our way through the Landing pad, we eventually broke out the other side with only one lost brawling 'mech, winning by 'mech destruction.
End Round Screen
Assault - 2:2:2:2 Trial mechs: To be Fought at later date.
Gleipnir leads series 2-0 (1 match left)
Gleipnir leads KDR 9-4 (1 match left)
